This page explains what data we collect when you use the a2mbike.com website or book a ride, why, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data collected
- Booking a ride : name, surname, telephone, email, departure and arrival addresses, date and time, options (luggage, waiting, round trip), details (flight or train number).
- Payment Online payment is processed by our payment provider (PayPal). We do not receive or store your bank card numbers.
- Contact form and WhatsApp Name, phone number, email address and content of your message.
- Navigation : technical data (IP address, browser) and, with your consent, audience measurement and advertising cookies.
Why we use your data
- Calculate the price, organize and carry out your trip, contact you before departure (contract execution).
- Prepare invoices and comply with our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
- Responding to your contact and quote requests (pre-contractual measures).
- Preventing fraud and securing the site (legitimate interest).
- To measure the audience and effectiveness of our advertisements (your consent).
Who receives your data
- Our team and, where applicable, the partner pilot who carries out your ride: they only receive what is necessary for the pickup (first name, phone number, addresses, times).
- Google (Google Maps Platform): the addresses entered are used to offer suggestions, calculate the route, the distance and the price.
- PayPal: online payment processing.
- Our hosting provider and our email sending provider, for the technical operation of the site.
Some of these service providers (Google, PayPal) may process data outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses of the European Commission). Your data is never sold.
Shelf life
- Booking and customer data: 3 years after the last ride.
- Invoices and accounting documents: 10 years (legal obligation).
- Contact requests without follow-up: 3 years after the last exchange.
- Audience measurement and advertising cookies: 13 months maximum.
Your rights
You can access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to its use, request its portability, and define instructions regarding its fate after your death. You can withdraw your consent to cookies at any time.
To exercise your rights, write to contact@a2mbike.com. We will respond within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

- Necessary cookies : booking and payment session (WooCommerce), security. They do not ask for your consent.
- Audience measurement and advertising (Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn): only placed with your consent, via the cookie banner.
